For The Love Of Noise 

Since 2009, Noisography - a local music blog/community - has been a staple in the live music scene here in Halifax, bringing you photos, videos and interviews with all your favorite musicians & artists.

Their goal being to document, as well as help promote, the Halifax live music scene to the rest of the world, by making the music more accessible to those outside of Nova Scotia and the East Coast.

On March 30th 2013, at the infamous Gus' Pub, in Halifax's North End, Noisography has invited everyone to a night of great music and fun, to celebrate their 4th Anniversary as well as help them raise funds, in order to keep the site going strong for another year.

"Since all of our basic services are free, this is the one time a year were we ask the community to lend a hand in helping us continue to support the scene."

Noisography has joined forces with some of their favorite local bands & businesses, to bring you For The Love Of Noise, the 2013 Noisography Fundraiser.

The night will feature music by Bantam Wing, First to Fall, Old Blood, Glory Glory & Alright Already as well as include an ongoing ticket raffle, which boasts over $1000.00 in winnings!

“The ticket raffle was an idea we came up with while thinking of ways to get the community involved. Yea, we promote bands and musicians all the time, but whenever we get the chance, we also like to promote the awesomeness of Halifax’s local business.

With the ticket raffle, we have a chance to promote local 100%, as well as lift our hats to all the bands and fans who have supported us over the past 4 years”         

                                   

The raffle will include prizes from over 15 businesses, including studio recording time, cafe gift cards, jewelry, concert tickets, records, t-shirts and much more.

There is certainly something for everyone at For the Love of Noise!

Bantam Wing added to the lineup!

On the advice from one of the members of Glory Glory, we have added Bantam Wing to the evenings
line-up.

This one man band is sure to put the night of to a good start.

"Bantam Wing is a rock band; loud fuzzy expressionism; guts and glory; tender moments in the middle of dance floors; wings that are too small to fly- Annapolis Valley to Montreal, overseas and back, Bantam Wing is excited to play for the first time in Halifax."

We have joined forces with some of our favorite local bands & businesses, to bring you For The Love Of Noise, the 2013 Noisography Fundraiser!

For the past 4 years, Noisography has worked diligently to promote and document the live music scene here in Halifax, bringing you photos, videos and interviews with all your favorite musicians - and so much more. On March 30th 2013, at the infamous Gus' Pub in Halifax's North End, we invite you all out to a night of great music and fun.

Come celebrate our 4th Anniversary with us, as well as help us raise some funds to keep Noisography going strong for another year!

The evening's soundtrack will be provided by Alright Already, Old Blood, Glory Glory & First to Fall.

There will also be an ongoing ticket raffle, where all our esteemed guests will be entered to win a plethora of prizes, including (but not limited to) merch prize packs from local record labels, gift cards from local shops, recording time & free postering!

One raffle ticket is included in the $6 cover charge.
Those who wish to up their luck, will be able to purchase additional tickets at the merch table, for $1 per ticket.

We are so glad to finally share the line up of "For The Love Of Noise"

It's a 4 band bill, consisting of First to Fall, from Bridgewater NS, as well as Old Blood, Glory Glory & Alright Already, from Halifax.

Taking place at ye ole Gus' Pub; the doors will open at 9pm and First To Fall will kick things off at 10:30pm sharp!
